As the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard saga continues, one legal expert is predicting how much money the latter may receive in the divorce.

Heard filed for divorce in May, after just 15 months of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. With no prenuptial agreement, the question now becomes how much Heard might make from the divorce.

Hollywood divorce lawyer Steve Mindel recently revealed how he thinks the case might go down.

"It wouldn't shock me if, after a 15-month marriage, she gets $5 or $7 or $10 million," Mindel told TheWrap in a new report. "It just wouldn't be shocking."

Heard could nab half of Depp's earnings since they were married in February 2015, which may include his huge amount of money earned from filming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

"Johnny Depp made a lot of money in these 15 months, and she's going to be entitled to a lot of money," Mindel noted.

It's also possible that Heard receives money from any royalties Depp earns from the various projects he was involved in during their marriage.

"She may say, 'Look, my community property interest (in the marriage) isn't just limited to the money that he made to do 'Pirates.' It's the residuals that come off of that infinitum.' So she would get half of those numbers less whatever his reasonable business expenses are," Mindel explained.

Heard's allegations of domestic violence complicate matters further, with the temporary restraining order serving as a benefit to her in court.

"She's making a big statement filing this with the public courts and filing the restraining order," Mindel observed. "This is a big statement that she's making to Johnny, that, 'You better write me a big check to quiet this down."

Meanwhile, there's the matter of the supposed text messages sent by Depp's assistant, Stephen Deuters, that essentially apologized for Depp's violence. Now, Deuters is saying that those text messages were doctored, adding that he will be testifying about never discussing any of the alleged violence with Heard.
