Evan Peters said he still doesn't know the theme for season 6 of American Horror Story, even though shooting is mere days away!

Peters recently said in an interview that he doesn't know the season 6 concept just yet, though it's unclear if he was just being coy.

"I wish I knew," he told People recently, when asked about the theme for season 6.

Making this all the more suspicious is Peters' other big comment in the interview, revealing, "We start shooting June 7th."

It seems rather unlikely that Peters still doesn't know the concept for season 6 just a few days before they begin shooting, though anything is possible. After all, showrunner Ryan Murphy has been unusually secretive about the next season, so perhaps they are doing things a little differently with season 6.

Regardless, Peters remains hopeful that the show will do a space-themed season one day.

"I really want to do space. Like a space station - like a contained space station. I don't know if it would be on Mars or the Moon or what but I think that would be amazing," he said.

Peters previously spoke about his desire for a space theme back in October.

"I keep pitching that it should be in space because I think the contained thing in space is really scary! It's not as sexy as some of these past seasons, but space is very intense, and there are a lot of things can go wrong," he told Vulture. "Alien creatures. People going crazy up there. There's a lot that could happen. And it could look cool. It could be awesome to design a space-station set, and that would be amazing, to play around in that. Who knows? They're the ones who come up with all the brilliant ideas. I just get to play around with them."

It remains to be seen if Peters' dream of space will ever come true, but for the time being, fans are dying to know what's coming up for season 6.

American Horror Story season 6 is slated to premiere this fall on FX.
