The petition to help bring back Finding Carter is still scraping by.

Ever since the MTV series was canceled from television after only two seasons, a petition was made to see if another network might be willing to pick it up. There haven't been any news announcements about a renewal at this point, but the petition has more than 14,000 signatures so far.

While this is a lot of signatures, it's taking a while for the petition to gain this many. About 1,000 have been added in the last two weeks, which isn't terrible, but it's not that great either.

Last March, a tweet was posted on social media where there was a bit of hope for the series possibly landing on Hulu. Someone from the site responded to the petition and mentioned that they would do what they can to see if something can be worked out.

"Thanks for getting in touch with us, and thanks for the suggestion of Finding Carter. Wow! You guys did GREAT with that petition, amazing!" the message reads. "I'll pass your request, along with the link, to our content team here. While that's not a guarantee we'll be able to secure the streaming rights for the show, we're always looking to expand our library."

Since the site has picked up other shows like The Mindy Project, perhaps it can make room for another series. But only time will tell how that goes.

"If there's anything else I can do- or if there are any other shows you'd like to see added on Hulu- please let me know," the message concludes.

Stay tuned to see if anything else gets updated for Finding Carter.
