It looks like someone here is in dire need of a social media intervention. Apparently, new mom Chrissy Teigen is so invested in what other people say about her in the comments section of her Instagram account that she actually considered bringing in a fake baby to an NBA game in order to ignite a firestorm among her haters, but unfortunately the stunt didn't work out to her advantage.

Teigen, who welcomed her daughter Luna Simone several weeks ago with her husband John Legend, wrapped a stuff toy in a blanket and wanted to try to pass it off as her baby, but stadium officials wouldn't allow it. She posted several photos of the stunt on her Snapchat account and wrote, "Twitter is gonna get so mad."

Yet, according to the popular gossip blog Celebitchy, many of her critics think she might be trying a little too hard and that she might be in desperate need of attention, even though she gets plenty of it from the media.

Some comments include, "She hadn't gotten enough attention lately? Because other than that, I really can't figure out any other reasons behind it. She's suuuuch a beautiful woman. It's a shame she's so into the drama," along with, "Need attention, Chrissy? Kudos to the stadium for not allowing her to pull off this stunt. You cannot bring stuff into NBA games. We have to go through metal detectors and handbags are searched. Chrissy shouldn't expect special treatment just so she can provoke discussion on Twitter."

Another critic wrote, "Does she really think people care about her baby that much? She thinks she's much more famous than she really is, doesn't she?"

So far Teigen herself has not made any additional comments about the failed stunt or the criticism, for that matter.
