Macklemore and Ryan Lewis made their MTV Movie Awards debut on Sunday live from Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, Calif at 9 p.m. ET.

The duo, known by many for their song Thriftshop, performed their new single Can't Hold Us after being introduced on stage by Ke$ha and Snoop Lion. Joining them on Sunday as performers are Selena Gomez and the cast of Pitch Perfect, who will perform a original musical mash-up.

The music video for Can't Hold Us will premiere on Wednesday, April 17. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' debut full-length album, The Heist, is now available in stores and on iTunes.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis reign from Seattle, Wash. and have made a name for themselves as a hip-hop group. The Heist rose to the No. 1 spot on iTunes and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard charts though it was not backed by a big-time record label, according to MTV. Thrift Shop has top 40 on the Billboard Top 100 chart and is continuing to go higher.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are also widely popular for their song Same Love, with lyrics that support marriage equality. They were the musical performers on Saturday Night Live on March 2 and will play at the Budweiser Made in America Festival on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
