Nashville fans can officially rejoice!

After it was announced that the country drama on ABC was getting canceled after four seasons, there was some speculation if the series would be able to continue on another network-- and as it turns out, the dream came true.

According to Friday's report from Entertainment Weekly, the series will continue its legacy on CMT for a fifth season. The show will also be renewed for 22 episodes.

The series is also expected to air the new episodes on Hulu after they air on CMT.

The site also pointed out that it's unclear how many of the cast members will be part of the new season. Some are expected to show up, but no one knows yet if the leading stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere will be there.

Regardless, there should hopefully be some closure on what happened to Juliette (Panettiere) following her flight that had a call in distress.

"CMT heard the fans," CMT president Brian Philips said. "The wave of love and appreciation they have unleashed for Nashville has been overwhelming. 'Nashville' is a perfect addition to our evolving line-up of big music specials, documentaries, and original series. We see our fans and ourselves in this show and we will treasure it like no other network. Nashville belongs on CMT."

Chairman of Lionsgate Television Group Kevin Beggs also expressed his gratitude for the series finding a new place to settle.

"CMT and Hulu are the perfect combination for our iconic and beloved series Nashville and we want to thank the incredible fans for their unwavering support- #Nashies, you helped make this possible," Beggs said. "We also want to extend our appreciation to the State of Tennessee, City of Nashville, and Ryman Hospitality for their unending support. They have been a key ingredient to the continued success of this show and we're thrilled to extend our partnership for a fifth season."
