One of Christina Grimmie's fans is expressing her grief and dismay over the tragic death of the singer.

On Monday, E! News caught up with Julie Emmet who was in attendance at the Plaza Live Theater in Orlando where Grimmie was shot and killed after the show. She was signing autographs and taking pictures with fans in the venue when a man opened fire on her and she died shortly after.

This came as a shock for Emmet especially since there was no expectation that something so shocking like this would happen just out of nowhere.

"It really hasn't hit me yet that she's gone, but it's really shocking and heartbreaking to have been there especially," the fan said. "She's always so bubbly and energetic on stage. She loves what she does. It was just a normal night for her. I remember the last song she sang was a very upbeat song...she loves singing and performing. She was just very energetic like always."

What makes the situation even more devastating and confusing is how people saw the shooter and just had no idea what was going to happen.

"People that I was with- acquaintances with- they saw [the shooter]," Emmet said. "They were in front of him in line. One of my friends tweeted that she looked right into his eyes and smiled. She didn't know."

After Grimmie's death, it was revealed from her brother Marcus that Adam Levine, who worked with the singer on music competition The Voice, had offered to pay for her service.

"I found out this morning that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for the funeral and her plane flight, and I was blown away," Marcus wrote on Facebook. "Now a friend just told me to look at the gofundme page and I see it is at 100k. Words cannot express...literally I have no words."
