While HBO's True Blood is still over a month away from its highly anticipated season 6 premiere, news has recently surfaced that involves a new love for Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Pacquin).

ENTV stated that even though Eric is attempting to woo Ms. Stackhouse, he'll reportedly receive some stiff competition from the likes of a fairy named Ben (Rob Kazinsky). The former BBC soap opera standout will be donning the role of a fairy that assists Sookie with the investigation surrounding her parents' slayings, ultimately leading to a romance. Kazinsky took to Twitter last year to inform his followers of his upcoming role.

"I see the god news is out! Very exciting stuff, being from Brighton, it was almost expected I'd be a fairy."

In terms of its storyline, True Blood's upcoming installment will apparently feature human threat as one of its plots.

Alexander Skarsgard (Eric) recently dished to LIVE with Kelly and Michael on the future storyline, stating that "Humans have never been a problem. But for the first time, they're actually a real threat. Eric's real busy this year."

To support Skarsgard's statement, the first official trailer for the upcoming season does show Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) being held at gunpoint by humans.

In other news related to the program, Hollywood Life reported that Eric and Sookie should more than likely end up with one another. However, it's still uncertain whether the writers would stay true to the novels by author Charlaine Harris, which is where the respective romance stemmed from.

HBO's True Blood will premiere its sixth season on Sunday, June 16 at 9 p.m. EDT.  Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the show.
