Yolanda Foster just announced her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Instagram.

Following four seasons in a full-time role on the Bravo reality series, Foster has opted to leave the show as she continues to battle with symptoms of Lyme disease.

"I would have loved a more graceful exit [than] Season 6 but sometimes we don't get to control the ending of the chapters in our life," Foster wrote on Instagram on Wednesday. "I am leaving what's over without denying its past importance in my life. I believe that every exit is an new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my @Bravotv family as I continue to focus on a my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our home."

Although there have been rumors of Foster's firing from the show for weeks, nothing was confirmed until today.

"Thank you to all the fans for your love and unwavering support these past 4 years," she continued. "I am grateful for the housewife experience and all it has thought me. I'am excited about this choice and look forward to the next chapter of my life.................. #RHOBH #TimeToSayGoodbye with #Gratitude @evolutionusa @bravoandy @bravotv #WWHL."

Just last week, a source claimed Bravo had asked Foster to return to the show for season seven, but only if she would agree to leave her Lyme disease storyline off the show and focus on dating.

"Lyme disease is off the table for her storyline. The viewers are tired of hearing about it, and Yolanda was very unhappy about the turn of events. Yolanda said she wanted to raise awareness about Lyme disease and producers understand her position," a source alleged to In Touch Weekly.

"Instead, Bravo gave Yolanda an ultimatum — her storyline this season will be looking for love since she is now single," the source continued. "Yolanda didn't want to expose that part of her life to the public, but in the end, [she] caved in to Bravo's demands because she wanted to be a part of the show."
