Blindspot season 2 has an official premiere date! Don't worry, were' not going to make you solve a puzzle to figure it out.

Instead, we'll tell it to you outright - Jane, Weller, and the FBI crew will kick of season 2 Wednesday Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET. The NBC drama will then move to its regular 8 p.m. Wednesday slot on Sept. 21.

The mystery/thriller/procedural hybrid closed out its freshman run with an emotionally taxing hour for Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton). Separated for much of the episode, the pair each dealt with traumatizing reveals as Jane went head to head with Oscar (Francois Arnaud) and Kurt uncovered the gruesome burial site of the real Taylor Shaw. Livid, distraught, and betrayed, Weller reunited with Jane only to haul her away in cuffs.

When season 2 premieres, everyone's secrets will come tumbling out. Zapata (Audrey Esparza), Patterson (Ashley Johnson), and Reade (Rob Brown) will reveal the contents of Mayfair's (Marianne Jean-Bapriste) junk drive, Weller will share the fate of his childhood friend, and Jane will dish on her season 1 side missions.

"You're going to learn Jane's real name in episode 1 of season 2. You're going to find out a lot. A lot. And it will be real this time," series creator Martin Gero told Entertainment Weekly. "For us, we really want to answer the majority of the mythology questions by the end of season 2, and then we have a really great idea for what season 3 is about. Season 2 is going to be extraordinarily satisfying viewing for our fans."
