Kate Upton may have another film to add to her acting resume, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The model is in talks to join Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann in an upcoming movie called The Other Woman. Nick Cassavetes, who is responsible for other notable films like The Notebook and John Q, will direct the project.

The flick follows a cheating husband (portrayed by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) who has broken his vows to his wife (Mann) by have extramarital affairs with his mistresses (Diaz and Upton). After learning of each other, all three women team up and plot revenge against Nikolaj.

For Upton, the new movie venture could mark the Sports Illustrated bombshell's third major film following appearances in last year's The Three Stooges and 2011's Tower Heist. The 20-year-old model is represented by IFA Talent Agency, IMG and Grubman Indursky Shire & Meiselas. She recently expressed to Rick Tittle from Sports Byline USA why it's important to wait for the right film project.

"I want to wait for a role that I'm really interested in because I just feel like everything has been so crazy," she explained. "I've been so busy that if I'm willing to put a hold on everything, I really want to enjoy it."

While details are sparse for the film, which is currently in the development stages, Variety reported that Julie Yorn is producing the project and Melissa Stack is writing the script. Production will reportedly begin in late spring/early summer in New York.
