James Franco's remake of Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? is slated to premiere Saturday night on Lifetime.

Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? is a remake of the 1996 film of the same name that also aired on Lifetime. Original stars Tori Spelling and Ivan Sergei return for the remake, in addition to Franco, Leila George (The Long Home), Emily Meade (Broad City) and Nick Eversman (Wild).

"When theater major Leah (George), brings home the special someone in her life to meet her mom, Julie (Spelling), the family is met with a surprise when Pearl (Meade) comes to the door," the Lifetime synopsis reads. "Julie tries to embrace the idea of Leah's new love interest, but she can't shake the feeling that something is very wrong. Julie's suspicions lead to a startling discovery about Pearl that puts Leah in serious danger. Will Julie be able to save her daughter from an eternity of heartache before it's too late?"

Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? will premiere Saturday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.

Unfortunately, Lifetime does not have an official streaming service, though there is a different way you can stream it if you do not have access to cable television. The popular Sling TV streaming service is an option; all you have to do is sign up for a seven-day free trial and you can stream the Lifetime channel starting at 8 p.m.

It is not yet known if Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? will be available online after Saturday night's broadcast. However, it will likely show up on the Lifetime Movie Club app, which is available on iPhone, iPad and Roku. This too features a free trial.

Plenty of Twitter users will be watching Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? Saturday night, so if you want to be in the know, use hashtag #MotherMayISleepWithDanger.
