Future, Ciara: Singer Is Still Suing Her Ex [VIDEO]

Future might have dropped his lawsuit against Ciara but she has not had a change of heart when it comes to her legal action against him.

The rapper was suing Ciara after she first filed a lawsuit against him and claimed that he blasting her on social media could negatively impact her career. Future then filed a countersuit for Ciara that stated that her career was already on the decline with our without his rants. While he has decided not to move forward with his lawsuit, the same cannot be said for the singer turned super model as she is still keeping her $15 million defamation lawsuit against him, TMZ reported Friday.

She filed it back in February after Future went on a Twitter rant and accused Ciara of being a bad mother for their son, baby Future. Apparently Future dropped his lawsuit because he wants to keep things peaceful with Ciara; especially since they were both awarded joint custody in their latest court appearance together. Word is Future is afraid that if he continues his lawsuit against Ciara, that could harm his chances of being with his son under the current agreement.

Things got ugly between Ciara and Future last year after it was revealed that she was dating Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson. The two recording artists had called off their engagement months before but Future made it clear he wasn’t here for Wilson pushing baby Future in a stroller so early in his and Ciara’s relationship.
