Stephen Curry And Ayesha 2016: NBA Star Responds To Wife's Controversial Tweets [VIDEO]
Steph Curry has responded after his wife, Ayesha, went off on Twitter and claimed the latest NBA Finals game was rigged.
ESPN’s The Undefeated Marc Sears caught up with Steph and he dished on Ayesha’s controversial tweets.
“When it comes to Twitter and all that, everybody says stuff where you get caught in the moment,” he said. “After a while, you kind of stand and calm down. Things might not be as you thought… I don’t fault her for showing some emotion on Twitter.”
Steph also confirmed that some things happened off the court. Those events also could have caused Ayesha’s emotional tweets.
“I was just kind of debriefed on what the security thought happened with some guy that poses with fake credentials and gets backstage at a lot of events, the NBA Finals and all that stuff,” he said. “They kind of profiled my father-in-law and thought that was him. They threatened to arrest him before they checked out his credentials. It’s kind of been an emotional and tough night all the way around.”
He added that the incident had a huge impact.
“That was kind of a traumatic situation where [Ayesha’s] dad almost got arrested. So it was kind of a tough situation to deal with in a hostile environment. All in all, it’s just a game. I hope that everybody is alright.”
Ayesha made headlines after she went off on Twitter and claimed that game 6 of the finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers was rigged. Had the Warriors won, they would be the Champions. But since the Cavaliers won that game, it has forced a game seven for this year’s series.

10 mins til game time and the whole teams families are sitting here on a bus. They won't let us in yet. Interesting tactic though. Again.

Still waiting. At least 100 of us. — Ayesha Curry (@ayeshacurry) June 17, 2016
They also wouldn't let our cousin into a casino today because he was wearing warriors gear.

Police racial profiled my father and told him to remove credentials and tried to arrest him. It's been a long night for me. I apologize: — Ayesha Curry (@ayeshacurry) June 17, 2016
I'm okay that we lost... I just can't take people coming at my family for absolutely no reason. Something I don't understand or stand for.
