I know what many of you are probably thinking right now: "What career?!" Even though many people didn't even know his name before he began dating Kylie Jenner, the rapper is now saying that their relationship has overshadowed his career and that unfortunately his days in the rap industry might be numbered because of it, too.

Speaking to Big Boy TV, Tyga is putting the blame on all the attention that he received for being Kylie Jenner's boyfriend, and not the rapper that he is. And unfortunately, dating the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star might have proven to be detrimental to his career.

He said, "Being in a very public relationship like that, it's hard for other people to see you differently. It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things I worked hard for."

The couple broke up earlier this summer and even though Kylie has moved on with rapper PartyNextDoor, Tyga is still single and ready to mingle.

"I'm single. I'm enjoying life," the musician said before hinting he and Kylie may give their romance another try in the future. "Later on in life, maybe we (Kylie and I) might come back, but right now I want to focus on what I need to do."

Tyga's ex-baby mama, Blac Chyna, is currently engaged to Kylie's brother, Rob Kardashian. The ex-couple share a 3-year-old son together, King Cairo.
