Jessica's Simpson's baby bump was on full display when she attended a friend's wedding on April 13.

The 32-year-old wore a long black dress that hugged her curves and revealed some cleavage. She attended the ceremony with her sister Ashlee Simpson. See photos here.

Jessica spoke about her second pregnancy in a new interview with People. The singer announced she was expecting for the second time in December of 2012, seven months after giving birth to her now 11-month daughter Maxwell Drew.  Jessica told the magazine she is looking forward to having her second child.

"I'm so excited to have a son," she said. "He got all these cute vintage cars and I got a lot of little leather jackets I can't wait to try out!"

Jessica said Maxwell Drew is excited too: "She was taking over some of her little brother's gifts!"

On Sunday Jessica celebrated her pregnancy with a Tom-Sawyer themed baby shower. She was surrounded by some of her close friends such as Jessica Alba and Chelsea Handler, ABC News reported. Jessica's mother, Tina Simpson, was reportedly one of the first people to arrive at the shower. 

"Tina was so thrilled to be at the shower and seemed over the moon for Jessica," a source said. " She was so bubbly and happy."

Jessica wore a bright blue Diane von Furstenberg dress and nude Brian Atwood heels. She arrived at the baby shower with her daughter on her hip and rubbed her belly bump as she greeted guests.

Celebrity planner Mindy Weiss told People that Jessica is "an amazing mother" and that she is "very calm" during her second pregnancy. Weiss planned baby show with help from Tina.

"They're best friends," said Weiss about the mother and daughter. "Jessica trusted her mom to make the decisions!"
