Meghan King Edmonds is expecting her first child with husband Jim Edmonds.

After undergoing in-vitro fertilization during filming on the 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Edmonds became pregnant and on Monday, ahead of the season premiere, she announced her baby news to fans.

"We are so thankful to have a healthy baby girl on the way," Edmonds, 31, told Us Weekly in a statement. "IVF was well worth it!"

“I’m so over the moon, I couldn’t believe it the first time I peed on a stick and I saw that little line kind of get a little darker,” she added to PEOPLE Magazine. “I’ve always dreamed of this, but it’s still such a miracle. I can’t even describe the feeling.”

At the time of her announcement, Edmonds shared a photo of her baby bump on Instagram.

"We're expecting a perfect little bundle of sugar and spice and everything nice!" she captioned the photo. "Jimmy and I are over the moon! We are thrilled to bring our daughter into our perfectly imperfect blended family in time for the holidays!"

Last year, Edmonds opened up about acting as step mom to Edmonds' older children.

"They really do feel like my children and I love them as if they are my children," she told Bravo, via Us Weekly. "I am shocked by the amount of indifference some stepmoms demonstrate. I sometimes find myself being jealous of how they can remove themselves from their stepkid and carry on with their lives as wives. But, then, I think it is a defense mechanism. The role I have chosen to play, which is a choice, is one of much more heartache and turmoil. But, for me, it’s so much more rewarding."
