Another firing is set to rock Tamar Braxton and her family on WeTV’s Braxton Family Values just weeks after she was let go from The Real.

This time, Toni Braxton is the one pulling the plug as she confides in Tamar about telling her sisters Trina and Towanda that she no longer wants them to sing background for them anymore.

“I think it’s time to get new background singers,” Toni tells Tamar before she explains why. “I think the girls are good. I just think it’s time for a change. I look at it as if they were helping me. And they were helping me longer than they should have been.”

Tamar responds and lets Toni know that even though they have been “helping” her for much of Toni’s career, “being a background singer is fun.”
Tamar also sang background for Toni before she stopped to work on her solo career.

Still, Tamar adds, “Everyone can’t be a background singer forever.”

Toni then informs Tamar that she still hasn’t told the girls yet.

Tamar adds, “Trina and Towanda have been singing for Toni for about 13,000 years. It’s like become second nature to them. At this point I’m not sure how they’re gonna take the news…”

Toni said she wants to have them do three more shows before “I bring in some new people.”

Still, Tamar is concerned that Toni isn’t ready for such a big.

“When you’re on stage, you like for your sisters to be there,” she tells Toni.
