It looks like the Zika virus is hitting a little too close to home for some people in the entertainment industry out there. Former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky, who is currently pregnant with her first child with fiance Kevin Manno, has announced that she's canceling her destination wedding over fears of the virus.

According to The Knot on Friday, Fedotowsky is scratching all of her plans as she and Manno initially wanted to get hitched in Mexico. Although she's currently pregnant and is due to give birth before the wedding, Fedotowsky and Manno doesn't want to take the risk of one of their pregnant guests getting bitten by an infected mosquito, which can pass the virus to an unborn child or during delivery and potentially result in the baby having microcephaly, which has been linked to eye defects, hearing loss, and impaired growth.

"We were super excited. We found the most amazing location and villa that would allow our entire family to stay with us," she said in an interview, adding, "Then, all the news broke about the Zika virus and we had to cancel."

Fedotowsky further explained, "It was such a huge disappointment. Even though we won't be pregnant when we get married, we just didn't think it was fair to ask our guests to travel to a location with active Zika virus transmissions. Most of our friends are in 'baby mode,' and that just wasn't a fair ask."

What's more, the blonde beauty was planning on a wedding in California earlier this year but pushed their date back when she found out she was pregnant.

Fedotowsky's due date is July 13.
