The 2016 BET Awards are set to go down Sunday night on BET, but there are ways to watch the whole event live online.

The BET Awards honor the best in music, movies, sports and more, with a specific focus on black culture. Last year's hosts, black-ish stars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, are back to host this year's ceremony as well.

Drake leads the nomination total heading into this Sunday's ceremony with nine, followed by Beyonce and Rihanna at 6 each. Samuel L. Jackson will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award while Jesse Williams is getting the Humanitarian Award.

Some notable performers for the night include Alicia Keys, Usher, Future, Jennifer Hudson, Tori Kelly, Erykah Badu, Desiigner, Young Thug, French Montana, Fat Joe, Maxwell and more. The night will also include a special tribute to late music icon Prince, with a performance from Sheila E., The Roots, D'Angelo, Stevie Wonder and Janelle Monae.

The 2016 BET Awards red carpet show begins at 5:30 p.m. ET, which you can live stream for free right here on the network's official website.

Then, the BET Awards begin at 8 p.m. ET, on BET. You can also watch the backstage feed of the awards for free while the ceremony is happening right here.
