Update: Manhunt Ends as Second Suspect is Arrested, First Suspect Killed (Read more)

The city of Boston is in a lockdown and residents are urged to stay indoors as the manhunt continues for suspected bomber, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

The streets around the city are noticeably empty, with public schools closed, mass transit shut down and no cars on the road. Many have taken to social media sites such as Twitter and Instagram to share images of their areas that are regularly busy but now seem eerily deserted. See photos here.

Additional photos are gone viral but of Tsarnaev, in an effort for the public to help officials find him following a shootout that took place Thursday where one officer was killed. Tsarnaev and his brother are suspected of planting two bombs at the Boston Marathon on Monday, which detonated and killed three people while injured over 140 others. Tsarnaev's brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed Thursday night during a shootout with police.

The Boston Police Department tweeted on Friday an image of Dzhokhar with the caption, "WANTED: Suspect identified as 19 year-old Dzokhar Tsarnaev of Cambridge. Suspect considered armed & dangerous."

A fake Twitter account surfaced Friday under the suspect's full name (@Dzhokhar_A). One photo of Dzhokhar was posted of him sitting at a table full of food and the image was captioned, "This is Dzhokhar Tsarnaev ... catch him.

Dzhokhar's real Twitter account under the name "Johar" was confirmed by a high school classmate of his who spoke to BuzzFeed. The account currently shows no photos of the suspect but it once did, shown here.  Brobible reached out to Dzhokar's friends and they confirmed that the suspect went by the nickname "Johar."

Dzhokhar's uncle Ruslam Tsarni addressed the public on Friday for the first time his nephews were identified as suspects in connection to the bomb explosions. During his statement he said he does not have a close relationship with the two suspects and also admitted that he spoke to them Friday morning.

Dzhokhar reportedly has an account on the Russian social media website Vkontakte, which appears similar to Facebook. A profile believed to be his is under the name "Djohar Tsarnaev."
