The mother of Tamerlan Tsarnaev and Dzhokar Tsarnaev spoke with TV networks on Friday afternoon, and feels that her sons are innocent and being setup.

According to the Business Insider, the mother of the suspects, gave the following statement to the media:

"I am 100 percent sure that this is a setup. My two sons are really innocent and neither of them have ever talked about what they said now."

She also said, "My son never told me he was on the side of Jihad."

The mother's comments aren't anything new out of the suspects' family, as other relatives have continued to come forward in support of them, which included their father and aunt.

The two suspects were first discovered walking together close to the finish line of the Boston Marathon prior to the explosions igniting that resulted in the deaths of three people and about 180 injuries.

One of the two males could be witnessed putting down a backpack at scene of the second bombing, stated Agent Rick DesLauriers, head of the FBI's Boston office.

DesLauriers said that the general public should refrain from interaction with the suspects, saying that they should be considered armed and "extremely dangerous."

The press conference came on a day when President Barack Obama spoke at the city's Cathedral of the Holy Cross.

"Every one of us stands with you. Boston may be your hometown - but we claim it, too. ...For millions of us, what happened on Monday is personal," the President said.

"Yes, we will find you. And yes, you will face justice. We will hold you accountable."

Not wanting to let fear get into the hearts of the great city of Boston, President Obama predicted that the tragedy-stricken city will run even harder and stronger for its 118th marathon next year.

Tamerlan, 26, was shot and killed in a shootout with police on Thursday night, while his brother Dzhokhar, 19, escaped and still remains at large.
