Belle (Emilie de Ravin) is still stuck in Pandora's Box in season 6 of ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Once Upon a Time fans will recall the elaborate plot in which Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) gave Pan (Robbie Kay) a (faulty) heart in exchange for a replica of Pandora's Box, in which Belle could stay. She is still stuck in there through Mr. Gold's dealings with Hyde (Sam Witwer), and Gold is desperate to get her out of the box in season 6.

"Belle is with Rumple - she's in Pandora's Box, in the sleeping curse," Once Upon a Time co-creator Edward Kitsis told TVLine recently.

But where will Hyde's info for Gold lead him and Belle? "That will be the mystery that we show you," Kitsis teased.

"What we really focus on at the start is: 'How the heck does he get her out of the box and wake her?'" Horowitz added.

Meanwhile, Hyde's arrival in Storybrooke will certainly affect the town in season 6.

"The condition of life in Storybrooke is very important," Horowitz said in a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly. "Hyde's arrival impacts that. We're planning to explore a lot of what that's going to mean for the day-to-day life in Storybrooke."

This day-to-day life in Storybrooke is what the co-creators were hoping to explore further in season 6 - a welcome change from the world-hopping recent seasons.

"One of the things that we really want to get back to this year is that season 1 and 2 vibe of small town stories," Kitsis said, "being in Storybrooke and getting back to Mary Margaret [Ginnifer Goodwin] as the teacher, Emma [Jennifer Morrison] as the sheriff, Grumpy [Lee Arenberg] as the janitor."

Once Upon a Time season 6 premieres Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
