Why doesn't Tamra Judge of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Orange County have a belly button?

In recent photos, the reality star and mother of four has been seen with no belly button, which ultimately led her to address the issue on Instagram.

"I addressed this tonight on @bravowwhl I know this is gross but I keep getting asked the same question, 'What happened to your belly button,'" Judge wrote on Instagram earlier this week. "For the last time .... 3 years ago, I was home alone and experienced excruciating pain. I called @drdubrow immediately and he told me to call 911."

After dialing 911, Judge was taken to the hospital, and as she traveled to the nearby facility, Dr. Terry Dubrow, star of E!'s Botched and the husband of her co-star Heather Dubrow, remained on the phone with her and offered his continued support.

"Terry stayed on the phone with me while the paramedics took me to the hospital. He also communicated with the on call surgeon," Judge revealed.

"My stomach wall had burst due to gastric hernia. [Five] hours of surgery this is what I was left with," she explained. "Yep I have a scare and a screwed up belly button but my intestines where saved . Thank you @drdubrow for being that Doctor that cared and took the time."

Earlier this month, Judge spoke to PEOPLE Magazine about what fans can expect from the currently airing 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

"There is so much real stuff that's going on," Judge said. "We are going through real-life things – it's not like we're arguing about like, 'Why you didn't invite me to a party?' or whatever. We don't have that this year. We have real-life stuff."

"You get to see a little bit more about my life with my granddaughter," Judge continued. "I also touched a little bit on my situation with my oldest daughter [Sidney Barney], and I'm doing a documentary on parental alienation and how it affects children. So it gets kind of emotional ... I mean, I was so busy this year, and I wasn't drinking, so there are a lot of serious things going on with me."
