"Secrets, secrets are no fun unless they're shared with everyone." Or unless your on Dead of Summer. Then your secrets are never fun, no matter who you share them with.

Freeform undoubtedly gave scores of first time campers a fright with Dead of Summer's season premiere, prompting youngsters across the country to hope for bunkmates akin to Supernatural's Sam and Dean. Summer is just beginning, however, and Camp Stillwater has plenty of horrifying truths that have yet come spilling out.

For some, it would be best if they kept their dark pasts buried, an idea that the camp's director took quite literally. Now that she's unearthed her mysterious box, viewers are it itching to find out exactly what Deb (Elizabeth Mitchell) is up to.

"How much that pertains to the camp and the evil doings there you'll have to watch and see, but she certainly is hiding something," executive producer Adam Horowitz told Entertainment Weekly. "We hope that coming out of the premiere you're wondering what it is, because it really does seem to emotionally affect her. We do get into it pretty soon and she's got a flashback episode coming up that we're really excited about."

Is she in on the camp's disturbing supernatural past? Was she involved in Stillwater's closure five years prior? Could she have whacked the gardener? With questions buzzing around like so many evening gnats, we're wondering how Dead of Summer will manage to answer them all.

"I think everyone has their really big own secret, and there's something about the camp and the lake that's going to reveal those secrets as the season goes on," executive producer Eddy Kitsis teased, according to TV Line.
