She vowed to see if there was a way for them to salvage their marriage after everything they went through, and things seemed to be on the right path for them, but Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will still find herself unable to move forward with Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) on Days of Our Lives.

They went away together to work on their romance, and despite both having flashbacks to their various situations at the hands of Andre (Thaao Penghlis), things seemed to be moving well, with romantic kissing that lead to the bedroom. Now, they are on the way top making love-but something will keep Hope from going through with the act, and she will halt things.

Her flashbacks to the night the man she now knows was a doppelganger tried to kill her will plague her still, forcing her to stop things with Aiden because it is still painful to try and make love with him since her memories of that night had her firmly believing the man she had married was trying to kill her. And though she believes his story that he had been kidnapped after their engagement, when he was really there that fateful night and nearly went through with killing her himself before Andre showed up with the lookalike, a part of her instincts are screaming at her not to fully trust him.

Meanwhile, Rafe (Galen Gering) has learned just how much Hope shouldn't be trusting Aiden, after realizing he was the lawyer who arranged for Monahan's confession, brokering Andre's release from prison. Knowing Andre will do what he can to get revenge on both him and Hope for not only killing Stefano and covering up his murder, but also framing him for the crime, this new information will prove to him that Aiden is as dangerous and ever. However, he could be unsuccessful at reaching her, since the price Aiden had for getting Andre out was a steep one that could keep Rafe from rescuing the woman he loves, as he was the competition for Hope's heart, and Aiden wanted his competition removed.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
