The live court session for Jodi Arias' first-degree murder trial will resume on Monday for the 2008 Arizona killing of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander.

The trial can be watched via the free live stream below.

As prosecution begins to go underway in the next few weeks, Lifetime is finalizing the casting for an original movie about Alexander's murder, titled Dirty Little Secrets: The Jodi Arias Story.

Arizona's 12 News interviewed a local woman who auditioned for the role as a reporter. Social media editor Kinsey Shoffield shared a copy of the script and details about the storyline, along with behind-the-scene details of the casting process. The 100-plus page script covers everything from the beginning of the love affair that Arias and Alexander had, to the murder and the explosive trial.

"It was extremely bizarre to walk into this 'Jodi Arias' headquarters' where her name [is] on the walls like she is a movie star," Shoffield told 12 News. "The (script) lines are just like 'Arias defense is falling apart' 'Arias claims that Travis was the sexual deviant and yet she sent him text messages that look like this one.'"

Shoffield said viewers will "get to see Travis as a human being and as a person and words are coming out of his mouth and from the script, seems to be a very charming character."

Lost actress Tania Raymonde is in the final stages of negotiations to portray the high-profile alleged murderer, according to Deadline. She will portray the former photographer who has been on trial because autopsy records showed that she stabbed Alexander over 27 times, slit his throat from ear-to-ear and shot him in the head. Moviegoers most recently saw Raymonde in Texas Chainsaw 3D, released in theatres in January.

Actor Jesse Lee Soffer has been cast to play Alexander, according to the report. He recently appeared in the Mob Doctor television series playing Nate Devline.

The cable network's original movie will be directed by Jace Alexander and the script was written by Richard Blaney and Gregory Small. The movie's executive producers are Joshua D. Maurer, Alixandre Witlin and Judith Verno. All three of them have worked on previous courtroom and crime dramas such as Prosecuting Casey Anthony, 2011's Amanda Knox: Murder On Trial In Italy, Drew Peterson: Untouchable and The Craigslist Killer.

Filming is expected to begin "right away" in Los Angeles, according to the report.

Arias has been on trial for three months because according to police, she lied twice at first about how Alexander was killed and later admitted that she killed him in an act of self-defense. If she is convicted of the murder and the lies that she confessed to, she will likely face the death penalty and become the fourth woman in Arizona's history to die by lethal injection.

Watch Arias' murder trial live online when it resumes on Monday at 12:30 p.m. EST.
