The Flash's Barry Allen might be at a loss when two new speedsters tear up Central City this fall. Kid Flash has arrived, but he's not alone. The new timeline will come equipped with a dark new meta, and the Scarlet Speedster could be powerless to stop him.

Nora Allen is alive, but in saving his mother, Barry (Grant Gustin) turned the entire world on its head. The Flash premiere tackle the events of Geoff Johns' Flashpoint, and, while the writers will put their own unique spin on the beloved tent pole, the upheaval could knock Barry's speed from 700 mph right down to the single digits.

Photos from Wednesday's filming appear to indicate just that. Seemingly no longer in possession of his powers or suit, Barry can be seen taking stock of a battle between Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) and a dark new speedster. Although the identity of Wally's foe remains unknown (Black Racer appears to be the No. 1 guess), the mystery man packs a wallop strong enough to render Central City's reigning hero unconscious in a dumpster.

As Barry attempts to help his former foster brother, the world is busy puzzling out the identity of the alleged Black Racer.

Canadagraphs quickly informed fans that the mask is not hiding John Wesley Ship (Henry Allen/Jay Garrick), Tom Felton (season 3 newbie Julian Dorn), or, presumably, Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne)

Hmmm...who do you think will terrorize Barry's new reality? It's certainly interesting that The Flash would opt to bring in Black Racer right after teasing the creation of Black Flash in the season 2 finale (see video below). After all, the characters are astonishingly similar.

The Flash will return to The CW on Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET.
