DMX is not pleased by the way he was portrayed on the April 13 episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life, which aired on Oprah Winfrey's OWN.

The former Ruff Ryders leader felt that Winfrey and Iyania Vanzant, an inspirational speaker, tricked him into making an appearance on the show. He has now threatened to sue if the footage airs on television.

DMX told TMZ that Vanzant purposely tried to make him look bad. She asked him questions about his drug use and even had his son confront him on air about those demons. During the episode, the rapper reportedly came across as a junkie and loose cannon. At one point, he told his son, "see you at my funeral then."

DMX insisted that he believed the interview was going to be about his addiction to women, and added that inquiries regarding any recreational drug use were not approved of beforehand.

"Iyanla set the whole thing up to make me look bad for ratings," he said, adding, "That lady is toxic ... My last words to her were that she can suck my d**k and she still can."

A representative for the Get At Me Dog lyricist released a statement over the dispute.

"DMX agreed to be a guest on Iyanla: Fix My Life with the understanding that she would be helping his relationships with his ten children. When he arrived for the taping, most of the content was focused on his struggles with drugs and poor parenting," the rep said.

The statement also took Vanzant to task for not doing as the title of her show suggests, saying, "Iyanla did not 'fix' DMX's life just made his image worse, and does not have DMX's personal written consent to use the footage."

Vanzant does not believe she has done anything wrong and issued an open letter via camera to DMX. She pleaded for him to overcome his drug addiction issues.

"I'm not going to give up on you," Vanzant said. "I will not stand by and watch my bother die."
