Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has officially named her running mate, so let's get to know the VP candidate.

Clinton announced on Friday that she has picked Tim Kaine as her vice-presidential pick. The Democratic Senator from Virginia will join Clinton on the campaign trail tomorrow in Florida, giving the nation their first glimpse of this year's Democratic ticket. Kaine will also be speaking at the Democratic National Convention, which will be held from Monday, June 25 through Thursday, June 28.

So who exactly is Sen. Kaine? Here are seven noteworthy facts about the presumptive Democratic VP.

-He graduated from Harvard Law and was a practicing lawyer

Sen. Kaine graduated from Harvard in 1983 and subsequently practiced law for 17 years, with a focus on fair housing. He also taught law ethics as an adjunct professor for the University of Richmond Law School.

-He's is fluent in Spanish

Sen. Kaine also speaks Spanish, and has volunteered to assist Jesuit missionaries in Honduras when he was attending school in Harvard.

-He has a wife and three kids

Sen. Kaine has been married to his wife, Anne Bright Holten, since 1984. They met when they were both attending Harvard. Together, they have three children, Nat, Woody and Annella.

-He believes in free trade

A supporter of the North American Free Trade Agreement, Sen. Kaine's political leanings are slightly different from Clinton's. He has also voted in favor of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which Clinton has changed positions on.

-He's friends with Wall Street

Sen. Kaine has taken donations from Wall Street, a topic that has caused some controversy among far-left liberals in this election, regarding Clinton.

-He has a winning streak

Sen. Kaine has had very good luck when running for public office. The 58-year-old won a seat on the Richmond City Council in 1994 and was elected as Mayor of Richmond in 1998. He then became Lieutenant Governor of Virginia in 2002 and became the state's governor in 2006. Kaine was elected as Chair of the Democratic National Committee in 2009, serving until 2011. He then ran for Senator of Virginia in 2013 and won.

-He's already been campaigning for Clinton

"Hillary is ready to be president," Sen. Kaine told a crowd in Virginia. "Hillary is ready to make history." He helped coach Spanish speaking supporters how to say they are "Ready for Hillary."
