They've snuck around behind her husband's back for a while now and have managed to keep their affair a hidden secret, but the bubble that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) have been living in where nothing can hurt them and expose their secret is about to finally burst on The Young and the Restless.

After Victor (Eric Braden) was freed from prison on his appeal, Phyllis lost it on Jack (Peter Bergmann) and forced him to leave her suite at the Athletic Club, and in her upset state, began to feel for the first time that her marriage was truly over. After deciding it likely was, she decided to pay her brother-in-law a visit, and when he opened his door she told him she truly believed her marriage was over, and he brought her inside to console her.

From there, the two will begin to undress, with Phyllis leaving her blouse downstairs as they then make their way to the bedroom to make love once more. Afterwards, they will decide that this time, it really wasn't a mistake, and Phyllis has really chosen Billy over her husband, since Jack isn't the same man who would have agreed with her about getting revenge on Victor for the pain he caused them. She now knows she wants a future with Billy, and is making plans to end her marriage to Jack and then eventually go public with Billy.

However, those plans could be forced right back out the window, after Billy's mother, Jill (Jess Walton) arrives back home and sees Phyllis's blouse on the floor. Curious as to who her son is really sleeping with and seeing, since she knows it isn't Bethany (Chrishell Stause), she will sneak upstairs and be stunned when she sees Phyllis in his bed through the partially opened door. Now, she will know what she needs to do, and she will head to Phyllis's suite to wait for her return, so she can confront her for what she's done.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
