All was well with singer and actor Justin Timberlake as he golfed for a good cause this weekend. That is until a stranger came up and physically assaulted him.

It doesn’t even seem like the man had a reason to slap the entertainer right in the face as he walked through the crowd on the golf course during the American Century Celebrity Pro-Am event in Lake Tahoe.

Timberlake stopped right in tracks before he turned around to confront the man, whose hand can be seen grazing Timberlake’s face in the clip obtained by TMZ Monday.

He is clearly upset and walks up to the man as he asks, “Bro. Bro. Why would you do that?”

It doesn’t sound like the mystery man gave Timberlake much of an answer; and even though the singer walked away from a possible altercation that was not the end of it.

Timberlake made it clear he did not want to take legal action and press charges; considering it was considered a “minor incident” and Timberlake did not suffer any serious injuries.

Still, Sheriff Deputies who were on duty had a different take on it and tried to make the man leave the venue. That’s when things went even further left. Officials close to the incident told the publication that the man said he simply wanted to “touch” Timberlake and got a little carried away. But he refused to leave when security tried to escort him away. Word is that he was a little under the influence and acted in a “belligerent” way. He was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Timberlake’s experience wasn’t all bad during the charity event. He was spotted dancing with actor Alfonso Ribiero and Stephen Curry doing the infamous Carlton Banks dance.
