Fans have been furiously trying to figure out which character on The Walking Dead was Negan's victim in the season 6 finale, but Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who portrays the character, may have let slip who some of his victims were not during a Comic-Con panel.

In an interview for IMDB with Kevin Smith, Morgan appeared to hint who his victims weren't, after Smith asked if the other people there-Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Steven Yeun (Glenn) and Norman Reedus (Daryl)--were safe.

"With the exception of Jeffrey, the rest of this panel is unkillable, right? Not a single one is ever leaving that show?" Smith asked.

Lincoln, Reedus and Yeun didn't answer, and Reedus then deflected the question to Morgan, saying he should answer it since he was the one who was doing the killing.

Morgan then tried to stay silent, before telling Smith that his character's victim was "no one sitting here."

While it is unlikely that he was actually admitting that Glenn, Daryl and Rick were all safe, if he did, it would cut down on the list of potential victims considerably.

The full lineup of people Negan was willing to kill included the three, as well as Rick's son, Carl (Chandler Riggs), Glenn's wife, Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Aaron (Ross Marquand) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green). It has been speculated since the finale that neither Rick nor Carl were the victims because Negan mentioned them both and pointed in their directions after selecting his victim.

Now, with Morgan's potential hint, it would mean Glenn and Daryl could be safe as well, leaving the victims to Maggie, Abraham, Eugene, Rosita, Michonne, Aaron and Sasha. The show has teased several times that the person who was killed would have a profound impact on the group, and it would be a fan favorite character, which can also further narrow down the list, since many fans aren't as attached Eugene, Rosita, Aaron or Sasha.

If these clues are all indeed factual, it would mean the victim could be Abraham (who wouldn't have as much of an impact, but who has lived past his comic book death), Michonne (who is dating Rick and is a skilled fighter for the group), and Maggie (who was pregnant and at risk of losing her baby).

The Walking Dead season 7 premieres on Sunday, October 9 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
