Pretty much all of the main characters on ABC's Once Upon a Time will have to deal with the splitting of Regina and the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) in season 6.

With the Evil Queen now her own manifestation in modern times, free from the much-nicer Regina, the citizens of Storybrooke and beyond will have to deal with the Queen's wrath. Parrilla spoke about this in a new interview, explaining the Evil Queen's motivations as she walks as an independent entity.

"I think the Evil Queen feels betrayed by Regina. She was such a part of her, and then she just got kicked out, so she's not happy about that," Lana Parrilla told E! News over the weekend. "But I think she's definitely going to have fun in the process to make everyone pay for it."

Rebecca Mader, who plays Regina's sister, Zelena, is very much looking forward to playing off of both Regina and the Evil Queen.

"I'm like, 'I've got a lot of work on my hands, dealing with two of you.' One, that's a lot, all right? But I've got a Regina and an Evil Queen! It's exhausting just thinking about what I've got coming ahead," Mader told the publication. "Zelena's always wanted a family, and now I've got two for the price of one. It's going to be really interesting dealing with these viscerally different women that absolutely despise each other at the moment. I'm looking forward to exploring those relationships in a really bizarre threesome."

Another character who will be grappling with Regina and the Evil Queen becoming their own people is Henry (Jared Gilmore). Things are about to get very complicated for the son of Regina.

"It's interesting because now Henry doesn't just have two moms, he has three moms," Gilmore observed, of Regina, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and now the Evil Queen. "Now, if there's a scene with all three of them, it's going to be, 'Mom, mom, mom.'"

Once Upon a Time season 6 premieres Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
