They've been trying to figure out for a long while who the woman was that's been helping Victor (Eric Braden) frame Adam (Justin Harley) for a murder he didn't commit, and now, both he and Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) will have a breakthrough that gives them the answers they need on The Young and the Restless.

Chelsea learned Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was back in town when she ran into her at the coffee shop, and now, when she goes to visit Adam in the prison, she will tell him about her being back in Genoa City. It won't take long for Adam to realize that the same woman who tried to kill him because he killed Delia is back for one purpose and one purpose only-to frame him for murder and make sure he pays in a way she deems fit for the loss he dealt her.

Now, the two will decide they need to work on a plan to get Chloe to confess, so they can be assured that they'll have the proof they need which will get Adam finally freed.

"Use your friendship, find out what she knows," he instructs Chelsea in a preview clip for the Monday,. August 1 episode. "Get her to admit she was working with Victor."

Chelsea will come up with the idea of offering Chloe and her daughter Bella a place to live while they're getting settled in town, and will insist they move into the penthouse with her. And because Victor is now after her because she hasn't turned in the diary pages which would prove Adam's innocence, she will actually take her up on the offer because of Victor's ominous threats.

"You're playing a very dangerous game," Victor tells her in the clip. "You know what I'm capable of."

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
