Safaree Samuels has moved on from his famous ex, rapper Nicki Minaj. And she and the new woman already have something in common: their name. But word has also spread that it’s all for show.

Samuels has been spotted getting extra close to reality star Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star Nikki Mudarris for months. And the two seemed to go public with their rumored relationship when they were spotted lip locking on the red carpet of an event Monday. Check out the photo below courtesy of Hollywood Unlocked.

  Interestingly enough, the photo comes just ahead of the highly anticipated third season of the show, which Samuels has been rumored to be joining. Things will probably heat up in the new episodes as Mudarris was previously dating her co-star Lil Fizz.

Still, rumor has it that Samuels and Mudarris are putting on a front for the cameras. Another blogger, Fameolous, posted photos of the two together and added the caption, “Old tea & it’s for the show. Safaree is a single man… #theirnewteaismyoldtea”

And fans seem to agree. Many of them headed to Twitter to speak on Samuels and Mudarris possibly being a couple and it seems as if everyone agrees it is for the show. “Why is safaree dating nikki… he press to be on tv”
