Tamera Mowry-Housley of The Real has gotten extremely candid about her career and the struggle she experienced after the hit series Sister, Sister wrapped.

Mowry-Housley stopped by Fox's new talk show The Preachers recently and opened up about the “roller coaster” of her faith that she experienced.

“There were times after ‘Sister, Sister’ when I think I was the most challenged with my faith,” she confessed. “Only because everything was so easy before. Then after ‘Sister, Sister that’s when reality really hit. That’s when you know if you truly are serving God for the right reasons.”

She admits she was “in the valley” for longer than she wanted, but that’s when she found herself and her relationship with God.

“You truly know who He is when you’re in the valley,” she said.

“I’m feel Iike I’m preaching!” she joked.

Still, Mowry-Housley is all for bringing back the hit show with her twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict.

She admitted that during an episode of The Real earlier this year. All of the co-hosts were dishing on television shows they want to return, and Adrienne Bailon couldn’t help but say she would love for Mowry-Housley’s own series to make a big comeback.

“I loved doing that show! I would say ‘Sister, Sister’ too. I absolutely love it.”

Her co-hosts pointed out that she’s not too different from Tamera Campbell, the character she played in the show.

“Like when you go ‘You guys!’” Jeannie Mai said.
