They finally agreed to a divorce and decided they should keep it as amicable as possible for their son's sake, but things will once again get tense between Katie (Heather Tom) and Bill (Don Diamont) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

They are trying to work out terms which will satisfy them both regarding custody and other details about their relationship, but when Bill presents Katie with a settlement, she will feel a bit slighted by how he thinks he can end things, but when she voices her opposition to what he thinks they should agree on, he will remind her that they promised to keep things civil, and if she doesn't do that, he won't hesitate to let things get ugly.

"We need to get along for Will's sake," he says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, August 9 episode.

Following the meeting, Katie will head to Forrester for a pow wow with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), where she will seek some more comfort over her divorce. And when Ridge asks her to explain what has her so blue since she's getting rid of an unfaithful husband, Katie will admit that Bill isn't hesitating to remind her that he can use her drinking against her and make sure her life becomes hell without Will being in it.

"Bill has all but threatened to take me to court, have me declared incompetent and go after full custody," she says in the clip.

Then, when she shares what Bill offered as a settlement, Ridge will decide it isn't enough, especially when he continues to threaten to Katie that he will take her son from her. And with the right words, he will encourage Katie to fight him harder for everything she wants and deserves because of what he did to her, and with his words in mind, Katie will decide to pay Bill a new visit, and make some unexpected and shocking demands.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
