Safaree Samuels has a shade filled message for Wendy Williams after she blasted him for wanting attention following his casting on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.

While Williams made her comments on her show a few weeks ago, Samuels might have just caught wind of them because now he has decided to clap back big time on Instagram. Ironically enough, it’s just days before he makes his debut on the show.

“I heard Wendy Williams said I’m chasing fame and I’m a fame wh*re,” he wrote Wednesday. “Listen sir, man to man I don’t know you… I’m doing me and have been doing me and if it involves being in the public eye it is what it is.”
He went on to point out that he has been a part of the music industry for more than 15 years “whether any knew it or not…”

Samuels’s claim to fame seemed to be his relationship with Nicki Minaj that sparked long before she became a household name. Since their breakup, he has said that he was the writer for many of her biggest hits early in her career.

He went on to say, “I’m doing this to support my family and ppl I care about. All you ppl do is try to pull down black ppl. I’ve never watched your show and don’t plan on it. At the end of the day none of you small minded ppl with opinions are putting any money in my pocket.”
