Twinkie fans can rejoice. The delicious and incredibly popular snack will be back on shelves in July.

In March, Enstars reported that there were rumors indicating the Twinkie could return if another firm bought out Hostess. Snack lovers can breath a sigh of relief now that Hostess Brands LLC has been created to take over the production and distribution of the treat, according to the Examiner.

And it's not just the Twinkies making a return - the entire Hostess line will be back.

So what was it that prompted the return of the cream-filled cake?

According to MSN, Apollo Global Management and Metropoulos & Co purchased the majority of the Hostess Snack brands for $410 million. Through this purchase, the firms created Hostess Brands, LLC, which will be reopening Dolly Madison Bakery in Ga., one of the former 36 bakeries that were closed last year.

"We expect to be making and selling in July," said Michael Cramer, executive vice president of Hostess Brands LLC, according to NBC. "Probably the later half of the month before the product hits the stores."

Some people may be wondering if this business shake up will in anyway change the taste of the iconic cake.

"Everything will be as delicious and fattening as it always was," Cramer assures buyers, according to NBC News.
