While celebrities like Patti LaBelle and Nick Jonas join the rest of humanity to speak out about the horrors of Diabetes and obesity, Walmart is very excited to announce the unveiling of their "exclusive" fried Twinkies. Now, instead of having to make a grueling trek across the fairgrounds, you can store an arsenal of artery clogging fried cake right in your home freezer!

Completely mowing down all outrageously unhealthy competitors in its path, Walmart released this caloric crime on Aug. 12, 2016. On their first day of availability, Walmarts across the nation quickly ran out of stock. After running a search on the Walmart website, we were unable to find stock of the "Hostess Deep Fried Twinkies Original 7ct" in a fifty mile radius of several regions.

In a recent CNN article it was reported that John Pearson, senior buyer for frozen foods for Walmart U.S., wrote that his company had co-designed the deep fried Twinkies with Hostess and that they "are so good they're worth the calories."

Ironically, you will be hard-pressed to find any negative news on the discount powerhouse's release of such a fattening treat.

While mainstream news sites lauded Walmart's new union with Hostess, not everyone on Twitter was as impressed:

If after some deep contemplation over the potential long-term effects of consuming fried Twinkies, you are still interested in consuming them, hurry to your local Walmart because they're only selling them for one year only!
