Season 2 of HBO's hit TV program Girls came to a story-booked close with Adam (Adam Sackler) holding Hannah (Lena Dunham) in his arms.

While the respective outcome likely won't continue without any bumps on the road, a new spoiler does seem to indicate that the duo is still smooth sailing.

The still photo from season 3 shows Hannah holding a note while Adam is wearing a knapsack with what seems to be a gift bag inside of it. They are also partaking in a serious lip-lock.

According to Hollywood, Hannah and Adam are currently the last hope in terms of salvaging what's left of the romance on the dark comedy, as Jessa (Jenima Kirke) and Thomas (Chris O'Dowd) had broken up along with Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) and Ray (Alex Karpovsky).

To top it off, it seems as though Charlie (Christopher Abbott) and Marnie (Allison Williams) are headed to splitsville as well.

In other Girls happenings, it was reported on April 3 by E! Online that Abbott won't be coming back to the show for the upcoming season.

A source of the entertainment network claimed that Dunham might be the reason behind his departure, as the two supposedly had "creative differences." However, Abbott's decision to leave was said to be "fairly mutual."

In January, the actor had spoken highly about his character and how Dunham dealt with the transition from season 1 to 2.

"Lena kind of set a tone to not change [the show] at all. We kind of went about it the same way we did the first season. Everyone was kind of just about the work. Lena sets the guidelines pretty straight, so she makes it kind of easy to go along with it. But she's very open about it; it's a very open table with her and everyone," Abbott said.
