Kate Middleton wants to give birth at a hospital near her family’s home.

Although it was previously thought that the baby of the Duke and Duchess would be born in St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, where Princess Diana gave birth to the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, friends of Middleton said she and her family want the Royal baby to be born at the same place where she her sister were born, at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.

“Their thinking is that she will be based at her parents’ house during the later stages of her pregnancy and they do not want her to have to travel miles to Paddington when she goes into labor,” said a source, according to Mail Online.

The baby is due in July, and for the first six weeks after the birth, Middleton will live at her parents’ house in Bucklebury.

The Duke and Duchess claimed that they do not know if they are having a boy or a girl. While she has said she would prefer a son, Prince William wants a daughter, Mail Online reported.

The couple was recently seen taking a tour at the Harry Potter studios, along with Prince William’s brother Henry, where they visited to the Great Hall, toured Diagon Alley, and given wand lessons.
