After her incredible showing at the Olympics, could we be seeing gymnast Simone Biles excel in the ballroom this fall?

Biles was easily one of the standout athletes of the Rio Olympics, winning a whopping four gold medals and one bronze medal. If she wasn't already, her efforts have certainly turned her into a household name, and Dancing With the Stars has apparently taken notice.

Biles is apparently being courted by DWTS, a source told Us Weekly in a new report. The report states that the 19-year-old is the most sought-after Olympian to do the dance competition.

"They would love to cast some Olympians if possible," the source said, adding that producers waited until the games to see which athletes stood out.

So would Biles considering doing Dancing With the Stars? The gymnast spoke with Us Weekly recently about this very prospect, admitting that while she might be busy, she is somewhat interested.

"I think 'Dancing With the Stars' would be so cool!" she said. "I can't dance, but that's what it's for. I don't know - we'll be so busy, we have tour, and if that happens, and I can do it, that would be amazing."

Many Olympic athletes have excelled on Dancing With the Stars in the past, with past winners including Meryl Davis, Kristi Yamaguchi, Apolo Anton Ohno and Shawn Johnson. Other athletes that have won the show include Emmitt Smith, Hélio Castroneves, Hines Ward and Donald Driver.

The season 23 cast of Dancing With the Stars has not yet been announced but the end of August fast approaching, the announcement should be coming very soon. Traditionally, the series producers wait until a few weeks before the premiere to announce the new celebrities as well as the new and returning pros.

Dancing With the Stars season 23 premieres Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
