Vicki Gunvalson has hit it off with new cast member Kelly Dodd on season 11 of The Real Housewives of Orange County and as Dodd continues to face drama with Shannon Beador, Gunvalson has stuck by her side.

Following the latest episode of the Bravo reality series, Gunvalson took to her blog where she claimed Dodd had been set up by Beador during a party earlier this season.

"Yes, I believe Shannon brought her two 'friends' to the '70s party to confront Kelly and I believe Kelly was set up by Shannon," Gunvalson wrote in her latest blog entry for Bravo TV. "I've thought long and hard on this and it doesn't make sense any other way. I know Kelly felt awful about how she reacted to Shannon and Tamra and the name calling she did to both of them. I think when one is pushed the way Kelly was at the '70s party, her initial reaction was to attack. I'm hopeful Shannon can forgive Kelly as she has apologized to her, but don't hold your breath on that one."

Gunvalson found herself on the outs with the majority of her co-stars during the 10th season of the show but during season 11, she found an ally in her newest reality star, Dodd, and the women appear to be enjoying their new friendship both on screen and off.
