John Krasinski opened up on how marriage and kids have been treating him to this day.

The actor, who's been married to Hollywood star Emily Blunt for the past six years, dished to Entertainment Tonight in Thursday's report on what it's like being a parent and how it makes him think differently.

"All the cliches of parenting are true and you feel all sort of new things," Krasinski said. "It was really this new existential magnet that you feel draw to your family...and you understand your parents more, you understand your brothers' relationship more, you understand even your family's name. That you are from somewhere."

Krasinski and Blunt are parents to two daughters, Hazel, 2, and Violet, two months. Watching his oldest child spend time with her baby sister is pretty incredible to see for the actor.

"She's amazing," Krasinski said about his child. "She really loves the baby and I think there is this idea of, 'Oh my God, she is adorable.' I mean, when a two-and-a-half-year-old hugs a newborn baby, it's one of the cutest things you will ever see."

Blunt is preparing for her next starring gig in the film Mary Poppins Returns where she'll be working with director Rob Marshall. Krasinski mentioned that his wife has never sung in front of him outside of a sound studio where she did recordings for her previous singing role as the baker's wife in Into the Woods.

"I came to visit and they were doing the pre-records on Into the Woods, and I remember Rob Marshall turning to me and he said, 'It's so great,' and I said, 'Yeah, I've never seen her sing,'" Krasinski said. "Rob Marshall did the slowest double take of all time and then queued a 125-piece orchestra and she started singing and I just wept. I told you that I'm a crier, it doesn't take much."
