Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen suffered a wardrobe malfunction ahead of her visit to the White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday.

Teigen, who is engaged to Grammy Award-winning singer John Legend, posted a picture of herself wearing a ripped dress on Instagram before they attended the annual event.

Teigen is posed in the picture standing on the balcony wearing a black strapless gown. The dress is completely unzipped on her left side, likely due to her curves.

The model captioned the photo on Instagram: "Late for #whcd. Broke zipper. Any tailors in DC wanna sew me in? "

Shortly after, she let her 200,000-plus followers know on Twitter that everything worked out.

"Ay yi yi. Backup dress," she wrote of her backup dress.

The second dress was a lovely cream one-shoulder confection. The floor-sweeping gown had silver beaded detail throughout. Her husband-to-be wore as simple black tuxedo with bow tie.

Teigen, who is half-Norwegian and half-Thai, has been dating Legend for five years. The couple met on the set of one of his music videos in 2007. He proposed to her during the holidays in 2011.

In January, Teigen has made her third appearance in the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She made first appeared in the annual magazine in 2010, thanks to an introduction to SI casting crew by her friend, model/actress Brooklyn Decker.

In March, Teiegn posted a fully nude photo of herself on Instagram while fully aware of the social media site's nudity ban. She posted a risqué image of a behind-the-scenes action that took place at a photo shoot. In the image, she was completely in the nude while getting a spray tan. The image was taken down because one of her nipples was showing.
