She has secretly loved him for a while now, and as she tried to help him cope with the grief over his wife's presumed death, Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) will finally admit how she really feels to Chad (Billy Flynn) on Days of Our Lives.

Her love for Chad led her to end a good relationship with her friend Theo (Kyler Pettis), and she had been secretly hoping and wishing that at some point, Chad would move on from Abigail's abandonment after she escaped from Shady Hills and that he would see her in a different light. But now, as Chad grieves over Abigail's apparent death in a plane crash and he makes plans to give up custody of his son Thomas, Ciara will finally find herself blurting out the truth about how she feels, and she will tell him that she loves him.

However, Chad won't return her affections, both because the grief for Abigail is still fresh, and because she is still so young, and he won't let anything happen between them. Naturally, Ciara will be devastated since she adjusted parts of her life so much in an effort to get closer to him, and being rejected won't sit well, forcing her to leave and seek out some advice from her friends about how to handle her heartbreak.

However, going to them could prove to devastate her even more. Theo swore he would always care for her and love her even after she dumped him romantically and broke his heart. And though he seemed to still care about her that way by always watching after and warning her not to fall in love with Chad, Ciara will realize Theo is now moving on from her, with none other than Claire (Olivia Keegan).

Ciara will walk in on the two making out, something that began to happen after Claire played one of her new songs for Theo, and he flirted with her about her talent. Now, Ciara may realize that she's alienated and somewhat alone, and it could lead to some major consequences for her and her life.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
