The intended target for eviction in the Big Brother 18 house is doing some last-minute campaigning - and it might just work.

Heads of Household: Natalie Negrotti and Michelle Meyer

Nominees: Corey Brooks and Victor Arroyo

Other houseguests: James Huling, Nicole Franzel and Paul Abrahamian

James, Natalie and Michelle had agreed through most of the week that Victor should be the one evicted on Thursday. This mostly came down to Victor's close relationship with Paul, who was the original target of Natalie before he won the Veto, and remains her biggest target now. James also expressed that Victor is much stronger in competitions than Corey, which is true, considering Victor has won two HOHs, a Veto, a Roadkill and three Battle Back comps.

The only condition James, Natalie and Michelle talked about is that if Victor were to promise them he would target Paul next week, then they would want him to stay. And Victor did just that Wednesday night.

Paul and Victor devised a plan to fool the rest of the house into thinking they are no longer working together. Paul started scheming with Corey and Nicole, and Victor told James, Natalie and Michelle how Paul was conniving against him and that he would nominate Paul and Nicole if he were to win HOH.

This was music to Natalie and Michelle's ears as they came to the conclusion that Victor should stay. James, on the other hand, was suspicious of Victor turning on Paul. He expressed to Natalie that it's simply in their best interest to have Victor gone and that they can easily beat Corey and Nicole in competitions.

It remains to be seen if Paul and Victor's plan will work, but it will take a lot of convincing on Natalie's part to save Victor. They settled on getting Victor out by the end of Wednesday night, but there's still a full day to go before tonight's live eviction. Anything could happen.

Big Brother 18 returns with another new episode Thursday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
