The Forrester clan will do whatever it takes to remove Eric (John McCook) as CEO so he and Quinn (Rena Sofer) no longer have any power and may then break up, but the person they need to make their plan work will refuse to cooperate with them on The Bold and the Beautiful.

The only way to unseat Eric is to get Bill's (Don Diamont) shares of Forrester, something that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) planned to do by having Katie (Heather Tom) go after them in her divorce. However, Katie and Bill will meet up to discuss their settlement and she will learn that Bill isn't going to give up his partial ownership of the company as easily as hoped.

"As far as my shares in Forrester are concerned, it ain't happening," he says to Katie in a preview clip for the Thursday, August 25 episode.

Katie will want to know why, and Bill will allude to the fact that he knows she's asking on behalf of Ridge, and not out of any desire of her own to have ownership in the company. And even after she explains that Ridge's intentions are actually with the hope of keeping Quinn, who Bill also hates, from rising through the ranks because of her relationship with Eric, Bill will remain unmoved, and will refuse to give his enemy anything.

"There is no way in hell I would ever let that dressmaker have my 12 and a half percent," he says in the clip.

Meanwhile, Ridge will be discussing the plan with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), who is uneasy about it, mainly because she may be forced to do something unthinkable to try and convince Bill to hand over the shares if Katie can't do it. And when they learn that she was unsuccessful, Brooke may be forced to try and work her magic to make it happen, and Ridge will remind her that her success is what everyone is going to be counting on.

"It's our best way of stopping Quinn," he says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
